Hemingway PA adopted Classroom Parent in 2021 in an effort to replace a paper school directory (which we had printed annually for many years), with an online directory that would be both more environmentally friendly and less labor intensive to produce -- and that would also allow for parents to update their contact information and control privacy and communications settings.
Over the past three years of using ClassroomParent, we have come to rely on the app for much more than directory functionality -- we also use it for our PA communications, event and volunteer signups, room parent functions.
As busy parents and volunteers, this streamlined application has made our work as a PA more efficient and more effective.
Initially skeptical, I'm now a huge fan of ClassroomParent's permission slip feature. It's simplified complex permission requirements, made duplication effortless, and parents love the ease of online completion.
